Greetings Adventurers! Here’s a small recap of the topics we covered on today’s livestream:

Kyrios Server Tour & Q&A: The beginning of this week’s stream was all dedicated to viewing a whole bunch of homes all over the server and answering questions from chat![/LIST]
Kyrios’s Lusca Battle — At the end of the livestream we stopped by the Sea of Graves and watched as the various factions of ArcheAge took the sea to end the Lusca threat… and one another’s boats, of course.

Don’t forget, you can always watch the full livestream on the official Trion Worlds Twitch page at your leisure!

Take your own Hereafter Gate into a new server with our Paid Character Transfer service

2/29 Update: We added an important known issue to this service that we are investigating — If your transfer fails, it may be because you have auctions pending on the auction house or a bid pending on an item. If that is the case, log in, cancel your bid or auctions, and attempt to transfer again. We are keeping an eye out for users in this state and are refunding your credits. If your credits are not refunded, contact

Looking for a new set of faces to fight, or trying to meet up with some old friends? You can now move characters across servers with our Paid Character Transfer service, starting on February 29th!

That date is coming up on us quick, and we all know you are excited to hear more information on how transfers will work. Here’s all of the juicy details!

Step 1: Prepare for the transfer

Before you jump off to grab a transfer, you’ll need to fulfill some requirements. Those requirements are:

  • Character may not be online at the time of transfer.
  • Character may not have unclaimed in-game or marketplace mail.
  • Character may not have any listed items on the auction house.
  • Character may not own land.
  • Character may not have any unbuilt fixtures in the world including drydocks.
  • Character may not be queued for deletion.
  • Character must be higher than level 10.
  • Character may not have been transferred within the last 30 days.
  • Character must not possess any server specific items, such as Siege Scrolls.
  • Character may not be a member of a guild or family prior to transferring.

Also keep in mind the following important details:

  • The transfer can take up to several minutes – during this time the character will be unavailable for play.
  • You cannot transfer more than one character at the same time.
  • Only the items in a character’s inventory and warehouse will be transferred. Items in other storage types will not be transferred.
  • Characters cannot transfer across regions (such as NA to EU, or vice-versa.)
  • Characters may not transfer to or from the Fresh Start servers, Rangora and Morpheus.
  • Characters may only transfer once every 30 days.
  • If a player already has your character’s name on your chosen server, you will be asked to choose a new name during the transfer process.
  • For the purposes of the transfer restrictions, pirates will count as their home factions, rather than as a pirate.
  • When you transfer as a hero, your old seat on your old server will be left vacant. Your hero cloak will be removed from your inventory automatically during the transfer. And, of course, you can no longer qualify for a hero reward at the end of the month.

Step 2: Purchase the transfer

Once you’re ready to leave, you’ll be able to purchase a Character Transfer for 2,700 Credits per character from the Glyph Store starting on February 29th. Yes, that’s right, we said Credits! If you are able to purchase some APEX in-game from the Auction House, you’ll be able to transfer by using in-game gold instead of real money.

Transfers will be limited by a server’s population and faction balance, so there may be times when certain servers aren’t available to transfer into or leave. For example, if Kyrios receives too many players from Haranya and not enough from Nuia, character transfers will be temporarily halted for Haranyans until Nuia catches up. These restrictions will be re-evaluated regularly, so try the transfer at a later time if your chosen server isn’t open at first. You’ll be able to see what servers are available before your purchase your transfer, too, to prevent you from purchasing a transfer when your desired server isn’t available.

For those of you in large guilds, these restrictions won’t suddenly be brought into place. If a server qualifies for a restriction, we’ll announce it on the forums. After that point, all transferring guilds will have 48 hours before the restrictions are put in place. You’ll have plenty of warning to get in your transfers and keep your guild together before the restrictions begin!

Step 3: Enjoy your new home!

Once the transfer has processed (it will usually take a few minutes) you’ll be able to log back into ArcheAge and enjoy the wonders of your new home! Meet new friends, make new enemies, and get ready to experience a new way to explore Erenor!

Jump into Mistsong Summit or the Arena for extra rewards!

Jump into Mistsong Summit or the Arena for extra rewards!

Stand up to the denizens of Mistsong Summit or go toe-to-toe with your fellow adventurers in the Skirmish and Sparring arenas. The choice is yours, but you’ll grab some extra rewards either way!

Battle the Bloodsong: February 23 – March 8

We need bold men and women to continue the assault on Mistsong Summit! Between February 23rd and March 8th at Midnight GMT (4:00 PM PST), a mysterious Masked Daru will be offering extra daily quests outside of Mistsong Summit on the Crimson Altar to take down Dochul, Sojung, and Aria on Easy or Normal modes.

Once one of these quests are complete, you’ll be rewarded with a Daru’s Gift Box! These boxes can offer a variety of rewards including Green and Blue Regrade charms Starlight Archeum, Merit Badges, Bound Hereafter Stones, Clear Synthium for our new Costume Synthesis system, Mistsong Scrolls, Pumpkin Taffy candies, or, rarely, a highly desired Resplendent Regrade Scroll or Red Regrade Charm.

Prove Your Skill in the Arena: March 8 – March 22

While the mission to infiltrate Mistsong Summit may be winding down, the combat is just getting started. The Masked Daru will have a new daily quest on March 8th, and that involves taking down an opponent in either the 1v1 Sparring Arena or 3v3 Skirmish arena. You’ll be able to find him standing with the Arena Manager in your faction’s Capital City – Marianople, Austera, or Growlgate – until the fates call him to return on March 22nd at Midnight GMT (4:00 PM PST).

Once you’re successful in getting a kill to your record, you’ll be able to walk away with an extra Donation Reward Box, which will grant you 5-10 Warrior’s Medals when opened. Perfect for crafting those 300 Warrior Medal Instruments!

And, of course, don’t forget to keep participating in the Login Tracker to gain extra rewards each day, including the coveted Login Badges! (And if you like those extra Warrior Medals, wait until you see next month’s Login Tracker rewards.)

ArcheAge Version 2.5, Build 8.2 Patch Notes — February Update

Turn it up to 11: Mistsong Summit Hard Mode is now available!

“It doesn’t stop haunting us. It keeps ringing in our ears… She keeps singing… Please… Please Adventurer… quell it.”

The Fates have aligned and it is time to face a new threat in Mistsong Summit. Visit the dungeon and test your might against the Hard versions of Aria, Dochul, and Sojung by setting the Weight and Balance to Hard before you fight. Just don’t expect for them to give you any quarter.

Infuse your costumes with power in the new Costume Synthesis system!
“That’s right. Weave the Archeum into the threads themselves, then begin the stitching. Keep your hand steady at this part, and try not to disturb the Synthium.”

The community has asked, and it’s finally come: Costumes can now be leveled up and earn statistics of their own! To learn more about how you can get a fancy new look that will increase your power, visit our official website and read more about the Costume Synthesis system.

Two new limited time events are coming your way, courtesy the Daru!
“They’ve seen a Masked Daru wandering the lands as of late. The inns are buzzing about him, saying that he’s offering new rewards for familiar threats…”

For the next few weeks, a Masked Daru will be offering some extra rewards for some of your favorite tasks! Between February 23rd and March 8, you’ll be able to claim an extra reward box for defeating one of the leaders of Mistsong Summit. Between March 8 and March 22, fighting and scoring a kill in either the Skirmish or Sparring arenas will get you some extra Proven Warrior’s Medals! Keep an eye out for this special Daru on the Crimson Altar of Mistmerrow, or in your local capital city or Diamond Shores, by the Arena Manager.

General Changes

  • Players may now increase their inventory size to 150 slots through Expansion Scrolls. Enjoy the extra room!
  • The team has applied a possible fix for the “Storage Chest Already In Use” bug. Please try your chests and let us know if they open!

Quests and Achievements

  • 13 new achievements have been added to Mistsong Summit.

  • Mistsong Summit: Medium and Easy Dochul’s skills have been adjusted and certain hit point elements of his fight have been decreased. Overall, these changes should lower the difficulty of the fight.
  • Sea of Drowned Love: The Northern / Southern / Eastern Guardian Gates are now closed after 30 minutes from their opening.

  • There is now a dismissal warning popup message before a guild member is removed from a guild.

Items, Crafting, and Regrading

  • Certain specialty tradepacks have had their material requirements and turn-in prices adjusted. They are as follows:
    • Hellswamp Ground Peanuts: Peanut requirement changed from 100 to 35.
    • Solis Red Spice: Saffon requirement changed from 40 to 12.
    • Windscour Chilled Beverages: Aloe requirement changed from 75 to 25.
    • Perinoor Fried Meat: Peanut requirement changed from 100 to 35.
  • A Porcelain Jar now drops in Mistsong Summit.
  • Fusion Alembics are now available on General Merchants.
  • Applying an image or costume to a basic costume no longer requires Fusion Alembics.
  • We’ve added 5 Bind on Pickup versions of familiar costumes — Royal’s Disguise, Rags of the Spoonlord, and the variants of the Purestar Ball Attire. Legacy versions of these costumes will remain Bind of Equip and will not become Bind on Pickup.
  • A new item has been added to the game in order to facilitate costume trading across the Auction House, in lieu of the Royal’s Disguise.
  • Ayanad Disciple Costumes no longer require Coagulated Archeum Crystals. The item has been replaced by Blue Salt Hammers.

  • When the player opens an Anywhere Warehouse, the inventory now also opens for your item storage convenience.
  • Made adjustments to prevent invalid looting.
  • The Auction House no longer uses time as a measurement of… er… time. Welcome back, hours and minutes!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a graphical error associated with a female Nuian character wearing Soulforged Greaves.
  • Fixed an issue on the Marketplace where a discounted price was not being displayed correctly by the original price.
  • Fixed an issue where the achievement list would move to page 1 when an achievement on page 2 is completed.
  • Fixed a bug where the Treasure Guardian’s Imprison can be targeted by harpoons to lift a ship.
