An announcement on an early Hallowtide

An announcement on an early Hallowtide

Good morning adventurers,

So let us first say definitively that Hallowtide was absolutely not scheduled to go live today. Hallowtide was scheduled to enable at October 25th, as previously announced and as planned. We have reached out and are currently working with the development team regarding this error, but, at the same time, the festival is enabled. We’re going to put in extra effort to make sure it’s working properly and will go along with enabling it early.

What that means is that we will be restarting the servers today and receiving an emergency patch from the development team. The patch is required to properly enable festival mode on all servers, as the Festival mode is hard coded to begin on October 25. Afterwards, once the patch is applied and the servers are restarted, Hallowtide will be fully enabled and everyone will get 4 extra days of the event.

For those of you who attended last year, the events have not changed outside of the addition of an extra boss fight after the candy bags are opened. Completing that fight will earn another coin. For those of you who are new to Hallowtide, I encourage you to look at this post until our official announcement is up:…20-november-3/

Finally, most importantly, this year’s festival exchanger will be melded into the permanent Mirage Isle vendor (as all of the events have recently) so it will not disappear at the end of the event and the times for the Two Crowns portion of the event have remained the same: 2:00 PM GMT, 6:00 PM GMT, 10:00 PM GMT, and 2:00 AM GMT, or 7:00 AM PDT, 11:00 AM PDT, 3:00 PM PDT, and 7:00 PM PDT.

Hallowtide is still scheduled to end on November 9th.
